Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Unclickbait about the Unclickbait browser extension and this website. By installing the extension or using the website, you agree to them. Questions go to support@unclickbait.app.
The service
Unclickbait is a free browser extension that replaces YouTube's thumbnails with frames from the videos themselves. The frames are images YouTube already keeps of each video, so a frame may not represent the whole video, and some videos have none.
Unclickbait isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. Your use of YouTube stays subject to YouTube's own terms.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old to use Unclickbait, or 16 in the European Economic Area.
Acceptable use
Don't use Unclickbait to break the law or anyone's rights, and don't copy, modify, resell or redistribute the extension, or present it as your own.
Ownership
The extension, its name, logo and this website belong to Unclickbait. The videos and images you see on YouTube belong to their owners; Unclickbait only changes which of YouTube's images your browser shows.
Ending
You can stop using Unclickbait at any time by uninstalling it, which deletes everything it stored. We may change or stop offering the extension at any time.
Disclaimer and liability
Unclickbait is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will work without errors or keep working if YouTube changes.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which for this free extension is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't let a contract take away.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update them here and change the date above. Using Unclickbait after a change means you accept the new terms.
